Everyone heard of Masada, but do you know about Gamla?

Located east of the Kineret (Sea of Galilee), this ancient Jewish city fought fiercely against the Roman invaders, but - just like Masada - suffered a tragic end. Roughly 9000 died there.

It is an impressive sight, specially during springtime when the hillsides are green, and hawks soar above.
